2. I am a Christian. "Oh Praise the One who paid my debt and raised this life up from the dead-- Jesus!". I believe Jesus is God and used His earthly death as a payment for my sin to make me pure and holy before His and my Abba Father God. Bringing me into fellowship with Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit where I find joy, peace, and blessing upon blessing and know that I will live life eternally with them. My family and I attend Portico Church.
3. I am a wife. I am married to Jason Vandever. We have been trekking along for 8 years. We met on a summer project (mission trip) in college. We dated long distance between Texas and Virginia for 2 years. When we both finished college, we married. Marrying young really worked out for us. We became best friends and got to make a lot of our first adult decisions together. Jason works as the City Treasurer of our city- Charlottesville, VA and I stay home with our 2 children.
4. I am a mom. Ethan is our first child. He is 2 1/2 years old and he has been an adventure to say the least. We are enjoying seeing his personality form. He makes us laugh and stretches us to be more giving of ourselves than we thought possible. Emma is our second child. She is still a baby and has been so fun to get to know. She is far more laid back than her brother. She likes to be held and is quick to give out smiles. She has been a delight!
5. I have hobbies. Some are new- working out more, cooking from scratch, and taking pictures. Some are old- blogging, reading, and hanging out with a good friend.
