Ethan slept. Yes folks. Last night was Ethan's first night to sleep straight through! We put him to bed about 10 (because Tuesday night is Community Group night so he goes to bed later) and he slept until 6:45 this morning. Awesome! You would have thought I would have had a fantastic night's sleep, but no such luck. Nope. This Momma was up at 4 thinking- why hasn't he woken up yet. Then at 5:30 when he cried for about 30 seconds-- thinking did he go back to sleep or is he up?
Nonetheless, we are on our way to better nights. We have been for a while, but this is the first time he slept for almost 9 hours straight. Woo hoo! It took 6 months for things to get manageable and now this at 7 1/2 months. He will be walking and hopefully breaking some teeth in the next few months.... so I'm sure he'll be up at night for those things. I am so proud of him though. Go Ethan.
