The best deal

My school order is late in gettting to me. So, I am lacking some major school supplies for the start of school. One on them includes 80 red bradded pocket folders (one for each student). So, I took a chance this week and went to Staples just to check it out. Much to my surprise the folders I needed were 1 penny each. Plus they took off the limited quantity rule on sales because I am a teacher. If that were not enough, they made my order tax exempt. So, I walked out of there with 80 folders that I paid $.80 for. Fabulous!

Funny kid

I was grading some papers today and thought I would share something that I thought was absolutely hilarious.

This kid was asked to define a solid and draw a picture. The kid defined it and then drew a box with molecules packed together (solid) and then proceeded to draw a switchblade, a gun, a ninja throwing star, and a sword. All of those things are solids.

Hilarious! But then I thought, is this their personality and them being original or what really pops in their head when they think of something solid? I hope it is the first option.
